Difficult Class?

Please keep in mind that every student on campus will struggle with a class at some point in the semester, you are not alone. Rather than stressing out, panicking, or worst, ignoring the problem, you can use the contacts below to get help.  Due to amount of course information shared in each class, students can quickly fall behind just from one day of missing class or not fully understanding one day of instruction. 

  • If you miss a class or don't fully understand the topic presented class, contact your course instructor immediately.  Each class has a course syllabus with the instructors contact information provided.
  • Contact a tutor for help immediately.  McNeese has several tutoring options for free online and on-campus tutoring options are available to help.
  • You can also contact your campus advisor for help. Use this directory to locate the department or staff member you need to contact to find their phone number or email.  To begin your search, type in the department name keywords or either the first or last name of the person you would like to contact. You can also call (337) 475-5000 for information and get help contacting different departments and offices.  We also have students resource contact information that you can save for quick reference.

Remember, being a successful student requires careful coordination of all aspects of your life. You may have heard or will start to hearing the term “school-work-life balance.” Now that you are enrolled at McNeese, you should consider how school is going to fit into life.
